Gym Festival

All the year 2 children participated at the Junior Gym Festival in Hastings last week.  They performed well, trying their best and being well behaved through the considerable delays between events.  Here are some photos I was unable to get photos of everyone and some that I did get were blurry.

Stone Soup

On Friday at Discovery time we made Stone Soup.  This was a follow up to a story one of the reading groups had.  The children worked very hard, cooperated well and tidied up afterwards.  The verdict on the soup was divided some said,"Yuck" but a lot said, " Yum "and wanted more. Thank you to everyone who donated vegetables for our soup.

The well boiled stone goes in the pot with water.
