Cross Country

All the training Room 4 has done for cross country really paid off.  Everyone did their best and we had some stunning results.

Visit to The Faraday Centre

On Thursday 13th Aug, Room 4 went to the Faraday Centre in Napier.  It is a fascinating place, with lots of exhibits from times gone by.  It is great for children and adults.  There are things to interest everyone.  It is interactive with lots of hands on activities. The museum is open to the public in the weekend.

Koltyn enjoyed the pianola.

The pianola was popular.  The children liked seeing the keys move by themselves

Jenny had a model of  a wheel made from cardboard, The children learned how important an axle is.  Something to try at discovery.

New Play Equipment

The children are loving playing with the new play equipment.  The favourite seems to be the Stickle Bricks with the Mobilo a close runner up.
We want to send a huge thank you to the parents league who provided the funding for this.  Also I would like to thank Frances Ellison for all her work coordinating and ordering this for us.  We appreciate your hard work Frances.
