The children are really enjoying learning hockey skills from Stephan from H.B. Hockey.

Tae kwon do Demonstration

On Friday the Greenmeadows Tae kwon do club did a demonstration at assembly.  Three young  children from school took part (Henry Hartree, Poppy Arnold and Zach Bradbury)  The club meets at Greenmeadows school to find out more information contact the office.

This sport teaches self control and good self defense skills.

The audience was very attentive.

Discovery

The first discovery time for 2015 was a big hit in Room 4.  At times it seems like organised chaos, but  the skills for learning how to work together develop quickly.  The children love dismantling appliances, finding out what is inside and recycling parts in their art projects.  Please keep the appliances and boxes coming in on Fridays.

Any old swimming goggles come in handy as safety glasses.

The children helped make the play dough and couldn't wait to get using it.

Wow! Jamie.  I am really liking your bulldozer.  I especially like the way you have recycled part of the keyboard to make the blade.  That shows imagination.  Good boy.

The New Swings

The Junior children are really loving the new swings in the playground.  Here are the children in Room 4 finding out about swing safety and having some good old fashioned fun.  A big thank you to the parent league for providing this great asset.

Welcome to the new school year.  Here's the bubbly bunch in Room 4.  They are ready to listen to a story in our beautiful library. (Ashton was absent)
